Welcome to the web site of United Christian Ministries of Jackson County, Incorporated (UCM). Located in Sylva NC, we are a non-profit organization that helps county residents in time of emergency. We provide food, household goods, furniture, and limited financial assistance.

Mission
Founded in 1989 by county churches, our organization’s mission is “to serve Christ by being a voice for and a help to people with urgent physical, economic, social, or spiritual needs so that they might become ‘whole’ persons in body, soul, and spirit.”

Location
We operate from a converted residence at 191 Skyland Drive in Sylva, NC.

Hours of Operation
10:00 am to 3:00 pm   Monday
12:30 pm to 5:00 pm   Tuesday
10:00 am to 12:30 pm Wednesday
10:00 am to 3:00 pm   Thur, Fri

Our office will be closed certain holidays.
