Needed in the pantry this week: jelly, pancake mix, pancake syrup
We provide a food pantry, personal items, and financial assistance to residents of Jackson County.
UCM is fully funded by grants and donations. Financial gifts may be made at our office or online (thank you!). UCM accepts donations of in-date food, personal toiletry items, and household cleaning items. We do not accept clothing, furniture, mattresses, or other household items. Monday 10 am – 3 pm
Tuesday 12:30 pm – 5pm
Wednesday 10 am – 12:30 pm
Thursday 10 am – 3pm
Friday 10 am – 3pm
Closed on New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans' Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, and Christmas Day. We may be closed additional days around Christmas.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit ministry and rely on donations of food and funding from the community, churches, businesses, civic organizations, and grants. Your donations are always welcome! To donate items, please drop them off at our building at 191 Skyland Drive, place in a UCM grocery cart inside Food Lion or Harold's Market, or order through Amazon. You can also choose United Christian Ministries Sylva as your Walmart round up recipient!
Items to donate: Spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, jelly, canned beans (any type), corn, peas, fruits, soups, Spaghettios, canned tuna, canned chicken, cereal.
