UCM could not operate without the financial assistance of generous individuals and churches. Many of the churches in the county support the ministry on a regular basis. Others donate as they are able. In 2009 for the first time, Jackson County provided some public funds.

Donations of food (perishable and non-perishable), personal care items, cleaning supplies, furniture, appliances, and household goods are needed. Food should be within the expiration date. Diapers and toiletries are always in short supply. Furniture, appliances and household goods should be clean and in good repair. The most requested household items are couches, beds, upholstered chairs, tables and chairs, washers and dryers, refrigerators, microwave ovens and electric ranges.
